This weekend Falcon Motorsports did their fair
share of the work at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit’s workday. Orlando and David showed up at the track bright
and early Saturday March 3 to lend a helping hand around the track in an attempt to get
ready for the season. It was a good turnout
with somewhere between 10 and 15 people showing up to work and there was a lot of progress
to show for it. “We spent most of the
day rebuilding a door on one of the work sheds”, David stated. “Then we helped tear the tile out of the
first floor of the tower to make way for the new concession stand.” When asked his opinion of the workday Orlando
said, “It was a good experience. It gave
us the opportunity to meet some new faces and feel like we made a difference at the
track.”
The
first race at Hallett is this weekend with the WERA Motorcycles. Falcon Motorsports first race at the track will be
April 21, which will be the first SCCA event at the track for the season.
